BADDDD Hair cut!!!

Ok I was sooo MAD that it took me over a week to write about this!

I went to my salon to get my hair dyed like I do ever month. My daughter had an asthma attach the day of my appointment so I had to re scedule. I HAD to go with a diffrent hair dresser then i always go to!

Well I had wanted to get my hair cut short for about 4 months and was looking through the book and I found the hair cut I wanted.... the new hair dresser said I can cut it today. I have seen her do other peoples hair before nd she always does this fantstic job so I thought...ok she can do it!

I had shown her a pic and asked her to make it a bit longer then the pic... I told her to have it touch my coaller and she seemed to understand...BUT when she goes to cut ... she HACKS this huge chunk right off the back...and it is about 3 or 4 inches from my coaller!!! I was sooooo devasted.. i kept trying to talk to her to make sure she understoond and she kept saying I understand DON"T WORRY!!!!! I HATE my hair... it is sooooo short. I had to have my hair dresser fix it. I didn't even post a pic of this hair cut because I can't even get a good enough pic to want to show!!!

It has been very upsetting and i keep trying to tell myself it will grow...at least I HAVE SOME hair!!! There is always a bright side but SOB...it is very tough going through this and I AM NOT HAPPY!!!!! *SOB SOB SOB*

I know exactly how you feel, i have been there so many times! There are not many hairdressers around that seem to "understand" what we talking about, though there are some fantastic hairdressers too.... but at one stage i was finding all the wrong ones! Now i have one person that i trust enough to give me a cut, but it took me years to find her.
Thank goodness it grow back, but i also know it doesnt make it better right now. It's horrible to be unhappy with your hair, after all, hair and clothes are the feathers of us woman huh... and we want it to look good, specially now with Christmas coming up.
Hang in there girl, in a few weeks time it will look and feel a whole lot different.

Oh wow Brooke, you know we've all been there. I am always so afraid to go to someone else. I am not the most attractive person, but I do try to have a decent cut and style. When someone screws it up I am just devastated!! I usually wait till summer to have a different cut if I so choose, because if it looks bad, I won't see as many people. I don't know what could be worse than having 60+ kids sitting behind you making fun of you...LOL It'll grow and I'm sure you'll be able to style it the way you feel more comfortable. Sorry this happened to you.

That's the pits, Brooke! My Mother is a retired hairdresser and she's the only one who's ever cut my hair exactly like I wanted it. Now her hands are so bad (carpal tunnel surgery on both hands and arthritis) that she can hardly hold the scissors.

A while back, I had a really bad haircut and I begged her to try to "fix" it. Bless her heart she did!

She told me - Kim, it's only hair - it'll grow back!

Does your hair grow fast or slow? Hopefully it grows fast enough that you'll be able to do more with it Christmas - besides, I've seen your avatar and I think you're gorgeous! Short hair can only show up your pretty facial structure!

Sorry about your haircut. We've all had them. Whenever I find a good hairdresser it seems like they either move or quit cutting hair. I've lost 3 that I really liked and enjoyed visiting with. Thank God that hair grows back out!!

Awwww you guys are SOOO sweet! If my hair looks HALF decent today I will try to post you a pic...You need to under stand how short this back is...there is NOTHING I can do with it!!!

But at least I have my health! (Isn't that what we are supossed to say when some thing bad happens!!!)
