Thanks, Diane! We think so! I took a lot of pictures at this time and she was in such different stages of smiling but my pictures must be too big and I could only post one. This was the biggest smile.......and her tongue was out in most of them! I so wish that you all could meet her in person. I'll try to get a video sometime!

Yes, she is. Ali has been a hard baby. She's had a heartburn problem and colic, and now she's teething so she's been fussy. Jaci has bent over backwards trying to make it pleasant for everyone to be around her but she's starting to do better. The doctor told her to let other people help her rather than trying to do it by herself so Jaci is trying. Ali does pretty good for me but we still have our moments! She just has to learn that she can be comforted by someone other than Mom!

She is just so adorable. I'm sorry she has had some problems, and hasn't felt so well. It's hard.

My daughter and both granddaughters were not easy. I always envied the mom's who said they had such easy babies. But my memories would have been diffierent if they'd been easy and I love the baby memories of all of them, even if I was exhausted sometimes! Ha!

I know that she will out grow it all soon. My own kids had colic. I think some of it too is because Jaci isn't real comfortable with babies. She grew up with the grand kids.........wasn't really the age to want to hold and care for them so all of this has been pretty overwhelming for her, but she's learned to ask questions, look things up on the internet, and read baby books! She's feeling more comfortable with being a mother now.
