				SOOOO Mad!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG! Tonight is my work Christmas party. I asked my FIL the other day if he'd watch my son so that my husband and I could go to the party. After he said yes, I bought my husband's ticket (mine was already paid for). I mentioned the party again to my MIL YESTERDAY. Well, party starts in less than an hour. Hubby went to take my son over to the in-laws...guess what...THEY'RE NOT HOME!!!!!!!!!! Well, I'm NOT missing my Christmas party. Since HIS parents are such jerks, then hubby can stay home with our son!

oh man that is bad - do they have a cell phone ??? girl - GO TO THE PARTY and your husband can always meet you later !!! That sucks but it's workable - do you have anyone else that can watch them on short notice ??

Good grief! What are they thinking? Have you ever had this problem with them before?

Do you think that something might have happened? Is this usual for them to do? If your husband doesn't mind you going with out him I would go...no need for you to miss your party..I would DEFINATELY say something to them about this...unless something happened.

Hopefully they were out and just a little late getting back. Maybe your FIL will still be able to watch them and your hubby can meet you there. Hope all turns out okay.

Well, FIL went out of town and my hubby ran into his mother at a gas station. We DID get to go to the party but we were just 30 minutes late. That's okay...at least we got to go. We had a great time and we don't get to do this kind of thing very often. To answer your question, I could type a book on the relationship between me and my inlaws.

Did your FIL just forget? Did he apologize? Glad you had a great time despite the set back!
