Janet - that is awesome about your weight loss. I havent been as diciplined with my healthier living styles as i should be. I need to surely get back on track.

I asked my friend to join Weight Watches with me but she said she wasn't ready for that sort of commitment yet. Bummer...I didn't want to do it alone.

Thanks Sheryl, I must really want to lose it this time, because I have been doing really good. The only thing I am doing is no white stuff, limit even my whole grain bread, simple servings (so I can at least have a bite or two of everything), no bigger than palm size of meat, drinking lots of water. Making sure I eat 3 meals a day at approx. the same time (so I don't get the starved feeling) and as suggested in an earlier post, having a snack between meals. Usually an apple, banana, rice cake or a WW cake. I don't eat anything after 7:00 PM. Just water. So far it's been working. The first day or two I was sooo hungry, but I just kept drinking the water. Now, I don't have that feeling. It's pretty nice! I just pray everynight that I can do the same thing tomorrow.

I think the hardest thing about losing weight is I want to lose it TODAY!! It's hard waiting for results, but I can tell my stomach as shrunk some. It feels tighter or something. Wish it looked like it feels...LOL

Now if I can just get my big butt on the treadmill I know I will be able to tell a difference a lot sooner. I just haven't gotten there yet. I keep telling myself....one day at a time.....one day at a time.

What I'm doing must be working. I weighed myself today and I weigh 227 lbs. That's down from 238 lbs. YEAH FOR ME!!!!!
