NEEEEEEEEEEEAT! If it makes you feel better, Melissa, my parents would probably give me a hard time, too, if I brought up the discussion of pursuing scuba diving while in college. But, like your mother, they would hear my side of my decision and ultimately support me. They would just ask lots of questions beforehand.

 Isn't it great that you have the opportunity to make that kind of money.......guess it won't be any problem at all reimbursing your parents....

I get to go in on Tuesday and get most of my gear!! I actually went by Friday but they hadn't gotten their shipment in so I decided to wait to get a better selection and I may be able to find what I need at lower prices without having to sacrifice quality.

My oldest son has been scuba diving for years and really enjoys it. It took him quite awhile to obtain all his equipment he needed/wanted. He wasn't as lucky as you Lissa having parents to help you out $$ to get all the stuff, LOL. Mom (me) is too tight and told my son that if he wanted to pursue these sorta hobbies then he sorta had to pay for it all.
