Sorry you're feeling lonely and lost Hannah. All the others have offered good advice. Are you planning on working? Why not find something part-time at least just to get out and meet people.
I did tell my niece once (she is very shy) to look around at all the people around her. Some of them are very lonely too. So I told her to go up to someone that may be feeling like she does and start a conversation. After a couple of weeks, she did that and now has a new best friend. It's hard sometimes, but well worth it. I do that sometimes when I go out for lunch by myself. If I see an elderly person sitting, eating alone, I ask if they would like to join. My pretense is that I don't like to eat alone. It's really nice to help someone, plus I learn so much.

Keep your chin up Hannah and realize that in time things will smooth out some.
Maybe you can find a place locally to do some volunteer work? Or...bury yourself into hobbies new and old?? Or....write down in a notebook some goals you'd like to achieve and go after some of them?? I am sure as time goes on you will find yourself meeting new people and getting to know your surroundings.
