Oh, you haven't seen mad until you've seen me when I've been woken up. I don't know what it is, but this beast just comes out. Hubby knows not to mess with me when I'm sleeping. If he snored, he would have to nip that in the bud REAL quick. I am such a monster when I don't get enough sleep.

Janet, I don't blame you for getting upset about the snoring. For the sake of your marriage and your rest, he should get that under control or go sleep in another room.

Thank you so much Rebecca!!! You don't know how much I appreciate knowing I'm not the only one. I was beginning to feel like a real b****, ya know? I don't mean to, but when my sleep is interrupted like that, it's horrible.

I don't like for my sleep to be interupted either. There's nothing wrong with having him sleep in a different room as long as it's not out of anger. I have an aunt and uncle who each have their own room because he is very active while he sleeps. They don't seem to have any problems with it and even joke about it quite often. Just have a nice talk and explain it to him and I bet he'll move into the other bedroom with no problem.

No, I would not make him move into another room over anger. We have never that I know of, gone to bed mad at each other in all these years. His grandparents slept in different rooms most of their married life because of his snoring. I'll just have to remind him of that. I really don't think he'll mind that much. He likes to be able to sleep without me poking him to quit snoring..

My grandparents sleep in separate rooms bc of snoring. My dad used to snore and my mom told him to get it fixed or sleep in another room. My dad and went and got a sleep test done, got on a C-pap machine, and now my mom and dad both sleep in peace.

Janet, if he really doesn't want to sleep in separate bedrooms, tell him that it's fine, but he needs to get the snoring fixed. He should understand that you shouldn't have to suffer night after night.

I'll suggest it again for the sleep test, but I know in my heart of hearts it will do no good. He may not have a choice though, when I have a chance to talk with the Dr. myself, Rick may need a firmer mattress after the surgery than what we have. So we still have a bed frame, will just need a mattress and box springs.

I remember being younger and visiting my Grandparents home. They also slept in seperate bedrooms. I never did understand why until I became married. LOL

I've headed into the other bedroom many a times to get some sleep due to Robert snoring. It's like I sleep walk there because I wake up in the morning not realizing I had even done it; but clearly understanding why.

From what I can tell it seems there are more amount of men who snore than don't. And....more women who clearly lose sleep over it than don't.
