Wow Tink, You and your husband are pretty brave. I don't know if I could handle living next door to a convict especially if he has threatened your husband in the past. Be careful.

He'll behave for a couple of days - like you said, he doesn't want to go right back to jail.

As soon as he gets high or drunk, you might be able to call the police (without even giving your name?) because he's probably breaking parole.

What a problem this jerk is! It's a good thing he has you for a neighbor. If he had another jerk next door, they'd both shoot each other, no doubt.

I feel sorry for his children.

Dh came home this morning. His week's going to be a bit "odd" so he can do a run that needs to deliver on Sunday. It's nice to have him home with all this craziness going on. We planted some Hostas this morning and are slowly putting in more fence posts this afternoon. The neighbor left a while ago and didn't even look at us when he came out, so I figure he's decided to ignore us, which is fine by me. LOL

So for a night or 2 I will have company overnight in case the neighbor decides to get drunk and stupid.

Judy, I feel sorry for the kids too. Fortunately he doesn't have custody of any of them.

Tink, you be careful. Is there someone you can stay with while your hubby is gone and this guy is on the loose? I don't know how you handle this. I'd have a big mean dog with me at night and sleep in another room where he did not expect me to be. I know I'm a scaredy cat, but better safe than sorry.

I hope he continues to leave you alone! He'll probably stay on a good track for maybe a few weeks, but seeing as he's already a re-offender, he's very likey to slip up again. Hopefully, it'll be by himself, and well away from you!
