I completely understand how you feel. I always take my mom to do everything she needs to on Saturday. Since I am sick I feel guilty that I can't do what she needs to but I have to work on getting well myself. I also hate that Angie has been spending so much time with me and interrupting her life. You have been a good daughter and taken care of him, but you also have your life and things you have to take care of.

Mom, don't ever feel bad about us spending so much time with you! We really enjoy being able to see you more often. If anything, that's the silver lining to this whole situation. I love you so much! *hugs*

I think you're looking at it as if the glass is half empty. If you could see it as the glass being half full, it might be easier for you.

You and your Dad are close now, he's not alone - you brother lives nearby. He has recovered enough to be home (a real blessing). You get to spend time with your husband, daughter and new grandson, and you can call Dad everyday.

FOR A LAWN THAT NEEDS MOWING,

BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME

I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT

WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH. .


FOR THE PARKING SPOT
I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING
AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION.


FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM WARM.


FOR THE LADY BEHIND ME IN CHURCH
WHO SINGS OFF KEY BECAUSE IT MEANS
I CAN HEAR.



FOR THE PILE OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR.



FOR WEARINESS AND ACHING MUSCLES
AT THE END OF THE DAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN
CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD.



FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF
IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE.
