Thanks Kate...I know what to do...I'm working on the WW points system right now, I'm just discouraged after one week. I know what exercises to do...I've been walking and more. That's why I asked about the Slim In Six DVD's they look good, and makes you feel like you're not exercising alone. They just cost so much!

Janet, I'm not sure how much they cost new, but I did a quick search on Ebay and I saw a few that were $9.99 and some that were about $20. There were also some that were more expensive, so I'm assuming they must have been brand new.

Thanks Angie...I was looking for a Vera Bradley purse on ebay and didn't even think to look there for the Slim In 6. I thought it was so new, it didn't even cross my mind. You're a sweetie. I'll check it out.

I hope you're able to find one in the price range you're looking for! Ebay is great for stuff like that. Sometimes people buy those kinds of things and then never use them so they think they'll at least get a few bucks back by getting rid of it on Ebay.

Janet,
A loss of one pound in a week on WW is actually a very nice loss. I know, I would love to lose 5 pounds in a week, but that isn't very healthy and it won't be fat loss, it will be mostly water. We really can lose only 1-2 pounds of fat per week.

I'm one to talk though, I've been trying to lose the same 10 pounds all summer and look! - it's almost WINTER!!!

I know it is discouraging, but WW will work, as will using the glycemic index - it's all in what is most comfortable/easiest for you.

Read about slim in 6 first on the 3 fat chicks site and see what other women say it is. I have a feeling I looked into it before and decided against it.

I liked weight watchers years ago but I never managed to stay on it more than a couple of months and the weight came back slowly but surely. That's why I prefer the g. index as the weight has almost all stayed off - I had to stop all exercise last year for some PT work and so gained back about 5 pounds. Since I fell down the stairs last winter, I haven't been able to get back to walking so I am kind of limited for losing it again. But I have faith - no I HAVE FAITH!! It's going to happen soon,
