Janet - gosh I hope you are ok. That's horrible to start your Monday off w/ stressed out nerves then to physically get hurt on top of that.

I'm sure Mom will come around and realize she's just being silly. Maybe she needs you to Mother her and just tell her this and that. Reverse rolls now.

I very often fall down half the stairs. The first words outta my mouth as I yell is "Im sober ~ Not my fault!!!!". Usually at that point hubby see's what type of shoes Im wearing then gripes at me for that. My excuse is Im just in too big of a hurry most the time to slow down and pay attention So....make sure those shoes you are wearing are good and solid so ya don't slip. I already know you're sober, LOL!!!

You're right Sheryl, I'm sober, but I sure as heck wish I wasn't!!! I am hurting so bad. I sure hope it's better by morning. It all happened so fast. I just stepped out of the bus..I thought it was just snow, but it was solid snow/ice and my feet just went out from under me. I hit the back of my hip, very big knot about as round as the size of a cereal bowl and also hit my upper side/back. My shoulder blade is hurting more now, but when I slid, I must have tried grabbing the handrail on my way down. I wanna be drunk so bad right now!

Maybe you should go get checked out by your doctor Janet. It sounds like you hit pretty darn hard. Did you notify work that you fell?

Ever do something and say 'Ohhhh that's gonna leave a mark?'. I say this often and well I think of you now.

Maybe soaking in a hot tub w/ epsom salts will help? Pain killers work too!!

Janet try taking alieve that is usually good pain reliever better than Tylenol. I agree with the other ladies go to dr. tomorrow if you are not feeling better.

I am so sorry that you had a bad day, hugs to you and like Sheryl says you have to be the mommy now. Just yes your mom to death and do what you have to do. She has no choices...

OhMyGosh Janet, i hope you are ok! I agree with the ladies, you should go see your Dr. Dont leave it, and think "it will be ok" it sounds like you got hurt bad. I also agree with the other ladies that you have to be the mommy now, you have to look after yourself right now, and do what you have to do.
