My brother had those hockey skates for speed skating, ive never tried that, but wooooo that must be fun.
A friend of mine went with us one day, she fell, and another skater rode over her hand, that was not a pretty sight.

When I was a kid, we used to go to Prospect Park in Brooklyn. They had a really nice skating rink. I'll never forget how beautiful it was at twilight. The ice had a beautiful blue look at that hour.
