Haley, I know you miss your grandmother greatly and your other grandmother as well. Realize how truly blessed you are to have gotten to know them. Wow. Many of us don't have that opportunity. I had 4 grandparents when I was born. By the time I was two years old I only had one grandmother and she passed away when I was 13. My father passed away in 1995, and my mother in 2000. My MIL and FIL both passed away in 2003. Our daughters are 21 & 22, so they never got to know their great grandparents at all. Their grandparents were all gone before they were out of high school. Actually their last grandparent died the very day our oldest daughter graduated from high school. There will be no grandparents at their weddings. I only wish my mother could be here to share this time with them. You are so truly blessed to get to know your grandparents. Cherish those memories and make wonderful ones with your children and grandchildren.

I'm glad you felt good when you went to her funeral. I'm sure she is pleased too, and is at peace with God and her family.

Micah did the cutiest thing at the funeral, he saw a couple people kneeling and praying he went up and kneeled put his head down, like he was praying, everyone thought that was so cute... it was like he understood why we were there. That made me cry so bad... but cute at the same time.

That's precious and must have been a beautiful moment. Who knows, they say young children can feel things we can't feel anymore. Maybe he was saying goodbye.
