It's so funny Marilyn, but I see all these new 'toys' that come out and get so excited, but then I have to remember...I don't go anywhere to do very much..so I don't know what I'd use them for.....LOL. Still like to check them out though and I do love the rush of thinking about getting it.

I don't travel enough to have GPS and being OCD, I have to route my trips before I get on the road. I have the AT&T Razr and pay $20/month for internet, mostly to get unlimited text messages - it was $5 more for the package.

We have to pay for our text messages, didn't come in our package, but my son still texts anyway. He has a job, so anything above our regular bill, he has to pay for. Was in for a shock this month...he has to pay something like $25. He's decided it's just as simple to make the call instead of texting....LOL

I personally don't know why, with email and instant message and being able to call that everyone likes texting so much...can you or anyone explain it to me? Maybe it's my old age, but I have no desire to text someone.

One daughter texts me from church - Lunch? One texts me - Babysit this weekend?

I have my cell set so that if I get an e-mail from certain people on my Yahoo account, I get a message so I can check it immediately from wherever. It's very important for me to get instant notification when I get an e-mail from my son in Iraq and my hubby or kiddos here.

I really enjoy getting pictures from the kiddos, makes me feel like I'm almost there with them. I'm a weather nut, so I enjoy getting text weather updates in bad weather!

It's worth $20, but I wouldn't pay much more. I'd love love love to have an I-Phone, but the sides costs are crazy!

Sounds really nice, maybe I should drop the $40 a month for WeightWatchers and get internet on my cell. Just thinking here....hmmmm.....Less money going out a month, just have to have some discipline to keep at my points without encouragement from meetings....oh the pain of deciding what to do. Maybe I should list the pros and cons, that could help.

I've been tempted to try WW. Since I broke the foot, my doc doesn't want me to do anything "impact". She told me I could do WW, but I DO NOT want to go to meetings! "With the price of gas" (how many times have you heard that lately) it would cost extra to go to meetings. I'm not sure I have the will to do the online WW thing. I NEED to do something.

Sandy, I love WW's. I've lost 28.4 lbs so far, but I gained 2.4 and lost it again. I really need to stay on the program and go to the meetings. It's a proven fact that more people stay with the program and lose more if they attend the meetings. Our meetings are so much fun and I laugh all the time.....but, I would like to have internet on my phone even though I don't really need it...LOL.

Janet, the thing about texting is that you can communicate what you need to without committing to a conversation. Text conversations are short, concise, to the point. You can text when you are places where you cannot talk. Example: My daughters will text me while they are in class to let me know how they did on a big exam.

Texting is another thing that I like about the i-Phone. A keyboard pops up on the touch screen so I don't have to do all the typing from a number pad on a cell phone, and it keeps the conversation in little bubbles on the screen and you can scroll up and down to see the conversation history. Love it!!!

Gina, hope your party went well!!!! I'm sure it was really nice if you had a lot to do with it!! Hope you've had a relaxing day!!

Judy, I ask hubby about laminate flooring. He does not recommend Pergo. He said that there are some new laminates out that look more like wood. The surface is not as shiny as Pergo and is more of a matt finish. These new laminates hold up better and are easier to clean. It's not a hard to install yourself if you have the desire to do so. Hubby does not recommend installing it in the kitchen because it does not hold up well in areas where it gets wet a lot.

BTW, WW works well, or at least it did for me. I think part of the reason is that if I'm paying for it, I'm going to make it work. I need to start going again or working out or something. When I was doing WW, I was working out and going to the meetings and counting points, and being strict with myself. Just hard to get back in the groove.

Marilyn, my daughter's party went really well. I had a house full it rained during the day but at night it cleared up. So some of the kids went outside to play. In all they behaved. The last of my company left at midnight..yep my family always stay until the end. lol

This morning I took the day off I was tired and my ears are bothering me sort of like stuffed I guess it's allergies. In all it was a relaxing day. Thanks for asking...

First - I love texting. It's fun and you can send a picture along. I have to make sure I'm texting people who know how to do it though.

Second - WW is the best, but you do have to work yourself up to start. I'm at the point where I could stop going (I don't stay for the meetings - I need to be accountable for my weight). As I'm typing this though, I realize I need to lose about 3 more pounds before I feel it's enough.

Third - Marilyn - could you ask dh which brands he might recommend?
