Ladies, I know we all have some important decisions to make, and open discussion is what this forum is all about. I think you all know that I have particularly strong views on some very controversial subjects, and enjoy discussing them. However, for the sake of harmony on 4WT, I for one am willing to suspend discussion of political topics until Christmas if need be. We have a really amazing group here, and want us all to remain close friends. I know, I've started some of the political threads, so if you wish to point this out, I'm guilty as charged. Is suspension of this topic one thing we can all agree on?? BTW, a kind PM by an awesome lady inspired this post. I can't take credit for this wonderful idea.
I also want to say that I think it is much better for us to handle this than having Admin put restrictions on our conversations as has occurred in other forums. I'm sure you will agree with this.

It has my vote!! I'm always so afraid controversial topics will get out of hand and I would hate that for 4WT. So to whoever PM'd you...GREAT IDEA!!!

Seriously, thanks Marilyn. I think that's a great idea. I don't think anyone came on too strong, but I agree that we should probably suspend political discussions. I put some references to articles on another thread. I also hope nobody got offended. We all pretty much know who we are all voting for, and we still love each other. That's one of the things I love best about being an American. We are blessed with such freedom.
