This morning I got up and went to an auction. One of my favorite auctioneers passed away and it was his furnishings and misc. His son-in-law is someone I worked with at one time and it was pretty difficult for him to get through the introductions. They were very close and did all their auctions together. He had great things to say about his FIL, who got him interested in being an auctioneeer too.
I didn't purchase anything. Things seemed to go quite higher than what you could get them in the store. I did get to see and visit with a lot of people I hadn't seen for awhile so that was especially nice. I started to go to Wal Mart (so I wouldn't have to make a special trip tomorrow for some groceries) but remembered Ricky had to go to work at 2:00 so I hurried on home. He won't get home until 9:30 and I wanted to be able to spend as much time with him as I could. I thought they were leaving at 7:30 in the morning, but they won't leave here until 8:30. I usually look forward to the quiet time, but for some reason...not this time. I hope it's not an intuition thing going on.
