The cake tasted delicious
Kyle and I managed to eat the right red stripe lol. I think I'm going to take the rest of it to work tomorrow and my coworkers can eat it. The fireworks were pretty good but I don't think it was worth the walk and the crowd of drunk teenagers I guess I'm getting old. And now there's random people setting off fireworks and it's kind of loud but I'm so exhausted hopefully I'll sleep through it!

Happy Canada Day (yesterday)!!!!! I didn't realize that Canada was only 141 years old. I learned something new today!!! It certainly sounded like you were well located to the park and I'm sure that it was disappointing that your friends didn't show up but I hope that you and Kyle had a good time anyway.

Yeah we're still a very young country! Still changing and growing.. My province just celebrated 100 years, and the newest territory (Nunavut) was just established in 1999 so it's not even 10 years old! Interesting fact that I just found out is that Canada didn't cut all all legislative ties with Britain until 1982, although we're still considered a constitutional monarchy with Queen Elizabeth as head of state

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it! The fireworks here weren't that impressive either...I was thinking of going to the states to celebrate the 4th and get in on some more fireworks!
