I don't have any suggestions, but I just wanted to wish you luck. It's great that you're actively taking steps to make yourself more happy and fulfilled! Way to go!

Congratulations! That's wonderful.

I was a teacher of inner city high school students. It takes several years to figure out your classroom management skills. I was not afraid of the kids, but I have a very strong personality. Teaching is not easy. It takes a certain kind of person.

I do have to say though, I don't think that there is a job that I would have gotten more back from. I loved my kids, and enjoyed being with them. I hope I gave them something that they can use in their lives. I know I gave them love, and that's always a good thing.

My masters degree is in behavioral psychology - while it is very stressful sometimes, the rewards of helping individuals to live independent lives is priceless. I've been in the field for 22 years.

I don't have any suggestions either...my advice really hasn't been too good as of late. I just want to wish you great luck in whatever you decide. I was always told if you do what makes you happy, then it won't seem like work.

Thank you all for your support. I'm excited & scared. I can't wait until I can get an appointment & take the test to see what might be a good fit for me. I've never really had a passion that could translate into a job; that's where my issue lies. I like a lot of things, but i've never loved anything. I love animals, so i thought i wanted to be a vet, but working in a vet office when I was 15 made me quesy. I love music, but don't have a lot of talent, so that's not an option. I love math & love to tutor people, but i'm not sure i could deal with who don't want to be there & don't want to learn, plus i'm not the most PC person in the world (my mouth has no filter, what i think comes right out). I think I could really enjoy the psychology. I love to learn new things & new challenges & i like to help people. Also business law is now on the radar. Again thank you all for your support.
