I planted some a couple years ago when we first moved into this house. They are still coming up each spring.

My question is though, do you plant them in bunches or long rows or just sprinkled here and there and where, around trees or in a place of their own? This is the part I can't figure out, mine don't really look so great I guess.

I saw some bulbs just this weekend and I got that hankering to start planting.

I do know with bulbs you have to make sure you plant them with the correct end "up". See, I do hold on to some information...LOL I think you can plant anything anyway you want to..

when i was a little girl my mom used to have a garden in our back yard. i remember her being all excited because she had planted asparagus for the first time and couldn't wait till it started to grow. she was so upset when they never grew and she found out she had planted them upside down!!!

I've never planted any, but was talking with an older lady friend a few years back and she told me to always know which end goes up. I've never forgotten it. I just don't know if I would know one end from the other...LOL
