GREAT read, Diana. My hubby is a veteran - just the other day someone was drawing his blood in the hospital and somehow the conversation came to my husband saying he was a veteran. When the lab tech was finished, he stuck out his hand and said "thank you for your service" and shook my husband's hand. My husband said to me later - I can count on one hand the number of people who have said that to me........
