Why don't you make pies ahead of time and take them with you? Or some other dish that can be refrigerated or heated later in the oven .........or maybe home-made rolls.

We go to Brads grandmoms house. She is old, sweet and stubborn... it makes her happy to have everyone gather at her place and since we aren't married or have any children of our own yet we obey. I suppose one day, I will cook my own dinner.

Now Christmas is tricky. I have at least 3 dinners on three different days to balance. And I also have a wedding dress to fit into so, this sucks. I will get a little spoon bites enough to taste everything, but definitely not going to gorge myself. Poor me right lol

This year we are going to my MIL. She is a widow and so some of the kids will be going there for dinner and then my one SIL will come for leftovers. I'm actually
looking forward to it. I have no idea why. We will be stopping by to pick up my dad and he will go with us. Since my mom died 2 1/2 years ago my younger brother and his family hasn't even tried to get together with us for anything.
But that's a whole other can of worms. Just to get away from home for once.
Won't be able to see my oldest daughter and grandson they are going to Kentucky to be with my son in law's sister. But they will be up the following weekend after Thanksgiving and I can't wait to spoil my grandson. I miss him so much. Hope everyone has a safe and happy one.

We have dinner here, and all the kids and grandkids come over. They all bring something, and I make the main meal with their help. After dinner, we play board games and just have fun.

I normally have Thanksgiving at my house with my older brother and his family along with the grandkids of theirs.. This year my SIL insisted we do it at her house being its mostly her family. Yeah I got the job of cooking turkey, mash potatoes , string beans fixed the way they like them. Bringing dessert to..
