Travel woes :(

I am hoping someday to do some traveling. I would love it myself. I always thought that I'd be traveling more than what little I have...so I'm not giving up hope. I'm not real interested in going overseas, but there are so many places here in the states that I would love to visit.

Lindsey I admire your spunk and independence that is wonderful.. Save for the trip to Europe I am sure you will not regret it. I have done some traveling, but my dream is to go to Italy one day. So much culture and I would love to see where my family came from.

Thanks Gina! Everyone I've talked to about Europe have been so supportive, even my parents! My mom is a little uneasy about me going alone, but they both know how badly I want to go.
I was supposed to go to Scotland as an exchange student in high school, because it was my dream to go there. I had all the paperwork filled out, the medical work done and signed by my doctor, but before I could submit it, my boyfriend at the time and his family talked me out of it. I dated the guy for 3 years and thought I would marry him, and he told me he would take me someday if I didn't go without him. I gave up my chance, and he broke up with me less than a year later
My dad's side of the family comes from Scotland and England, and my grandparents on my mom's side are both Hungarian. I really really want to go to Hungary but I would have to add on another week. I'd like to go back someday though and see Hungary eventually. I'd like to find family there!
