Hey Betsi, that's my preferred mule ride too - although I have ridden the four legged kind many moons ago!

Mules and golf carts are all over some of the plants I call on, only they aren't as clean and pretty as the one in the pic. I ride in them frequently to visit customers. Yep, hard hat, safety glasses or goggles, riding in a mule. That's the life. LOL

Cause they work so hard?! I swear those things will almost climb straight up. I think Frank and Linda's is just like the one in Diana's picture. Danny and Susan's is green. I wanted to get a Kubota to match Harold's tractor, but he talked me out of it. I think I like my 4-wheeler better!

Marilyn, I still have my steel-toed boots and pink hardhat from my Brown & Root Fab Yard days.

I wear the traditional white, visitor hardhat, unless a plant requires that I wear theirs. Alcoa makes visitors wear a florescent green hardhat and vest. My vest is always way too big. It looks like an ugly smock. LOL

Yep - I had three different hat for my different job duties. I was Project Secretary, on the Safety Steering Committee and at the end I was Yard Office Manager (over all offices). So, I had/have a white hat, a gold hat, and my pink one. To be fashionable, I had/have a black pair of boots and a brown pair.
I recently went out to Delta's Fab Yard and Kiewit's and wore the pink hat because I know people at both yards and knew they'd be expecting me to come bold! I LOVED my seven years at the Brown & Root Fab Yard.

I've been trying to get Kewit's business, in Ingleside, but they have been a tough nut to crack. There's an inside sales woman at a competitor down there that they really like. She is tough to compete with. I have inside sales guys, and it's just not the same.
