I remember vacation bible school too! My g-daughter usually goes every summer, but this summer she helped out instead of attending.
Can't wait to see pix!

Wow!!! It was really cool!!!! We have two churches that have gone together to do this and the other church has a member that is the children's guidance counselor at school and he is a hoot!!! He did such a wonderful job!!. I just had to make sure that the kids got to their classes on time. We're also feeding the kids supper and tonight we had lasagna with a salad, an apple, garlic bread, and some banana pudding!!! It was very good!!!

I can "hear" in your typing how much fun you had. That is so neat! I know the kids could sense how much you enjoyed them too, and that is great for kids to have that feeling!

I acted totally crazy!! My grandkids were so embarrased by me!! I just had a good time!! When I lead my kids to another room I would have them walk like me and I would walk silly! I think that they enjoyed it but this morning I could tell that the bunny hops got to my back!!!!!

I remember when my kids use to go to VBS it was so nice.. Sounds like your enjoying yourself. GO FOR IT!

Sounds like you're having a good time, Diana!!! We do VBS a little different. For us it's a Wednesday night summer series. This year the theme is the Keys to the Kingdom. We made some squigglie key rings and each child has one that they hook on a board at the end of each class so it's there for them next week and each week, they get another key. The keys are about 6 inches long and are made of bright colored construction paper. Different teachers take turns doing the lesson each week. Mine was a few weeks ago, and was on baptism. Last nights was on Armor from Ephesians, putting on the whole Armor of God. Lots of people helped prepare for this one and they used silver and gold poster board and actually made all the pieces of armor for each child. The breast plate of righteousness, etc. We got lots of pictures of last night. I'll have to post some. This has worked out well for us rather than doing one intense week.
