Here's an update from Debbie.....
Debbie Thomas..... an update on my grandson--the Neurosurgeon this morning says he sees no brain damage on the latest CT scan- He is still in and out of consciousness and is in a lot of pain and very nauseous when he wakes up but we are so thankful there is no brain damage.

So sorry this has happened. Traci has been through enough and now this. I'm glad he'll be okay, but sending prayers anyway. Thanks Diana for letting us know this.

This was from yesterday....
Debbie Thomas...... Just got back from the hospital. He is still sleeping most of the time but he was a little more alert during the times he was awake. His knee hurts really bad but there are no broken bones in it.They are saying if he can eat and keep it down he can... go home tomorrow.I really don't think he is ready. He is still not responding very well most of the time and he hasn't been out of bed at all yet. And Debbie posted this today..... Debbie Thomas...... Sebastian is having surgery on his thumb this afternoon. Some bone is missing so they have to cut some bone off, even it up and do grafts.

She has had a very difficult time of it! I will be sending prayers. Poor kid! I hope he recovers quickly.

Debbie Thomas....... Thanks to everyone for your prayers. His surgery went well. He is back in PICU. We are going to have them check out his knee soon. We know there are no broken bones but it looks pretty bad and hurts a lot. The CT Scan today still looked good.

She posted this evening on FB.
My grandson is on his way home from the hospital now. Today is his mom's birthday so taking him home is a great present. Her only one since none of us have been anywhere except work and the hospital Last edited by Gina; 10-09-2009 at 05:05 PM. |
