2006 Sucks

Ok I'm venting here. 2006 really SUCKS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
We had a cousin pass away in Feb.
My Mom passed away in March.
My husbands grandmother passed away in May.
4 days later my father in law passed away.
Now today in the last Month of the year. I knew it couldn't last.
My oldest daughter's best friend from hight school died. She was only 22.
2007 had better be better. And to think I still have 21 more days yet of this year.

I feel for you. 2005 was like that for my family and it always comes in threes

One aunt died Feb 2

Another died Feb 17

A great aunt died in March

My husband died in October

So far 2006 hasn't been a repeat, thank God, but it always seems to steamroll once it starts. My sympathy to your and your family.

{{{Cecil}}} I'm sorry this year has been so hard for you.
We had one like that in 91... so I know how hard it is.

Things will get better, and over time the pain will lessen. When you can't stand it, I hope you can drop to your knees and just let God do it for you. He will support you if you let Him. I don't know how I would have gotten through it without my faith.

You and yours are in my prayers.

We just got a call from my youngest daughter telling me that another one of her friends committed suicide this morning. She found out about it while at work. She called to let me know she won't be home tonight. She's lost so many friends to accidents and suicide and is only 18... so we truly do know the pain you're feeling.

I'm so sorry to hear about how bad your year has been, I think everyone has years like that. I'm 19 and 03 was like that for me, my grandmother died around February, my grandfather died in May, and I had a friend die in a car crash that Fall.

I hope 07 is much better for you!!

(((((((Cecil)))))). Sincerest condolences to all affected by these losses. It's hard to know just what to say, but sincerely hope that you have a better '07. Good news is, it starts in 21 days.

I hope 2007 will be better for you, Linda. We all know these things are going to happen and moreso, it seems, the older we get. We'll lose parents, family, friends.... We just have to move on and cherish the memories they left with us.

bleck what a terrible year for everyone
hopefully 2007 is better!
for my family, and every individual in it, the worst and best things happen at the sam etime. My grandma's sister died the same year my aunt (my grandmas daughter) got married. what a difference right?
this year was... lots of highs and lows... I think in the end it was very good though. I guess I'm lucky!
