Enjoying the Weather! (Pics!)
Hey everyone!
So here's something you didn't know about me: I am a mentor through a local organization that deals with children who have at least one incarcerated parent. I pick up my little second grade "mentee" every Tuesday and spend the afternoon with her. (She's awesome!) Well, today was so nice that we decided to visit a local park with my hubby and our yorkie. My mentee had a great time and we got some pretty cute pictures I wanted to share with you! 1. Marty looking as cute as ever! 2. Me and the hubby (Brendon) 3. Me and my mentee 4. Marty again Marty says to please overlook his messed up hair...he'd been running and playing hard at the park!

I think that you're to be congratulated for helping your little girl. That sounds like a really nice organization to be helping. I feel so sorry for children that have parents in jail. You deserve a round of applause!!!

Awwww - seeing these pictures just make my heart pitter patter. Recently my hubby and I signed up for and applied to Big Brothers/Big Sisters Organization. We would be called a "Big Couple" mentoring a small little girl.
The latest is we've been accepted into their program and they are on the hunt now for our special little girl. I can't wait. I think it's wonderful too that you are taking time to do something really special for your little girl. Thumbs up to ya!!  I bet it just warms your heart when the two of you spend time together.
