When we have pot roast, we get this potroast "kit" that Tyson makes from Walmart. It is so convenient because in the "kit" is everything you need.....the meat, potatoes, carrotts, ect. The only thing is, whenever we cook it, my hubby does it all. So I have no idea how to do it. But if you can find one of those kits, I am sure there are directions on the box. Hey, if my hubby can do it, anyone can do it!

I know! I really only took me about 15 minutes to prepare. I like the fact that there are only a few ingredients. I hate going to the store to buy ingredients to cook something and it ends up being more than we would have spent if we went out to dinner!

I love meatloaf, yummy yummy in my tummy! Mine is just a simple one: 2 lb hamburger, crackers, egg, tomato paste and a little bit of onion soup mix. Told you I didn't care for cooking that well. But the guys love it, at least they told me they did.

That's pretty much how I do it too. I use onion salt instead of onion soup though. MY pot roast is fairly simple too. I just cube some potatoes and cut some carrots throw the roast and the veges in the crockpot cover with water and let it go. I put a lot of salt and onion salt in it too. I don't like real onions so that's why I use onion salt so much. OH and most people wait til the end to put the veges in but I don't they do get softer but I just don't want to go back at the end and put them in. Oh and don't forget to save the water/juices and make gravy. I usually make it on the weekend and will put it on high in the morning and we will eat a late lunch with it then have leftovers for dinner as well. |

That's how I do my roasts too!! We must have went to the same cooking school....LOLOL I don't like onions either, blah! But I am going to try the onion salt. Since I don't really like cooking that well, I usually cook the same stuff all the time. With all these new recipes, most are so easy.. I am going to try quite a few that have been posted. I just copy and pasted them in my Word and printed them out on index cards.
