Click on user cp, there should be something there about albums and pictures.
User cp is at the top left on your page. Don't get too aggravated, just keep messing with it, you'll figure it out.
As for friends, just click on any of our names, and then click on view public profile, then you will see where it says you can click to befriend someone.
