Click on user cp, there should be something there about albums and pictures.
User cp is at the top left on your page. Don't get too aggravated, just keep messing with it, you'll figure it out. As for friends, just click on any of our names, and then click on view public profile, then you will see where it says you can click to befriend someone.

I think you have to go to your page, click add album, give it a name, and then open it. It should say "upload pictures."

At your page, click "show all albums" then add new album, give it a name, and it will tell you to upload pix.
