Gayle if you remember Gucci had a few incidences of limping over the summer. They were checking for Lyme disease but it can back negative Thank God. The vet put her on some medicine for inflamation and it went away. I am glad that Rowdy is feeling better and hopefully it won't come back either.

I was going to pull up the threads so you can read but I don't know how to.

I do remember Gucci limping in the summer. That is the first thing I thought about was that she was limping and nothing showed up. It's kinda like Rowdy, nothing showed up! He hasn't had a tick (that I know of) so that should be OK - but if the limping comes back, I'll ask the vet about Lymes disease.

Gayle, so glad that it doesn't seem to be anything serious, and that your vet charged you only $16. When we go to the vet, it always around $90. If they do any kind of treatment or give us pills to take home, it's $150. You have a very nice vet!!!!!

We DO have a very nice (and good) vet. He doesn't charge for the office visit - he only charges for what he does/pills/etc. If you go in and he thinks nothing is wrong, then you don't pay anything. HOWEVER, he graduated from A&M and on Saturday I had on a Texas shirt (RIVAL schools for those of you up north) and he yelled to the receptionists, "Charge this Texas fan double" LOL!!!

I'm so glad to hear that Rowdy is better. Yorkies are so little that it's always a scare when they're hurt or sick. Wow!! What a wonderful vet you have!!! Just think, though, you're real bill was probably only $8!!!!

LOL! You are RIGHT!!! But I think the receptionist is a Texas fan - so maybe my bill was actually 1/2 instead of double

How is the limping? Gone, I hope, and never to come back again!

My vet charges $18 for a visit. He also will give you his cell phone number if you are one of his favorites. When Jessie's first dog was pregnant, he gave it to her in case she needed a c section. (she did). She is not allowed to give it out to ANYONE!
