We're having trouble getting her blood pressure regulated. It's low most of the time now so they are taking her off her BP meds and hopefully this will help. It's been an exhausting week for sure.

Ah! I'm sure that is what caused her to pass out! That is what caused Gary to pass out too a couple of weeks ago! Gary was dehydrated though - and maybe that is what happened to your mom too.

Thanks Gayle....I'll have to ask her and make sure she's getting hydrated. Would be so much easier for me to keep an eye her if she lived here, but she knows she's welcome anytime she's ready.

Mom is still pretty weak and gets tired very easy. I did take her to Wal Mart today so she could get a few gifts bought. I took our wheel chair in case she needed it, but she did pretty good leaning on the cart. It's so exhausting. I'm not really complaining, but I'm so tired. I'm sure Gayle knows how I'm feeling. When I'm use to just going to the store and doing my thing...now I'm not only doing my shopping, but Mom's and helping her read the labels, making sure she doesn't fall and then carrying everything for her. I come home and I'm just exhausted.
I'm really not complaining, I love my Mom. This just isn't how I wanted the end of her life to be. She's starting to cry more. We went to eat and she couldn't get a jelly packet open. It upset her so bad...it breaks my heart.

Awww Janet. I'm so sorry your Mom is having these problems. I know you love your Mom. It's just that it breaks your heart to see them not being able to do the things they used to. I went through this with my Dad over the summer, my Mom broke her leg and I was down there about 3 nights a week for several months to help take care of them. When we would go to the store, they were both in wheel chairs. It was really sad. Now Mom is all healed up but my Dad has congestive heart failure and has days that he doesn't have the strength to hardly walk so I understand how broken hearted this makes you. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your Mom
