Gayle... no sympathy from me either lol! You may have a conference in the day but you get to spend your evenings enjoying such a beautiful place! I think that would be a nice break from working all day and spending the evening at home!

Hey Gayle! Just wandering how you and Gary are doing.

I hope the weather is decent there. I have seen on the news about all the airport delays due to the weather. I hope everything is going well.

Just thought I'd post because I was thinking about you guys traveling.

Looking forward to hearing from you!~Hugs!

It was 1 degree here this morning, so I definitely would like to change places with you.

I hope the trip was easy for you and Gary. I know we all teased you, but we all do know that it is hard for you to travel. We are always here for you, Gayle.

Enjoy that beautiful island!

Hi Guys! Got home a couple of hours ago. It's COLD in Austin. Brrrrr! It was 75 when we left Florida and 39 when we arrived in Austin.

We had a good trip. The airport gate change on the way down was easy, just a VERY short walk. I've got a few pictures and I'll tell you a little about the trip in the picture thread as soon as I get them uploaded.

It's good to be home!

Gary did really well! Our room was on the second floor - cuz there were no rooms in the ground floor - hurricanes you know! I always request a ground floor room, so he doesn't have to climb stairs - but at this hotel, the ground floor had no rooms!!! He as able to climb the stairs with no problems. YAY!

He was able to just lay around the room all day both days I was at the conference, so he got plenty of rest and felt really good!

We didn't have too far to walk in the airports either, except when we got there it was a long walk to the rental car place. But he did fine! He was tired and ready to sit when we got there, but wasn't overly exhausted.
