You girls will have a blast!!! Please take lots of pix I'm kindda in the same boat as Judy. I have four yorkies and it would cost alot to fly them. I checked mapquest today and to drive would be 14 hours from where I live.

Judy, you'll have your car fixed soon and maybe something will work out so you can come!! I'm so sorry that it broke down on you....that's not fun and something that you never plan on happening. I hope you weren't stranded. I just hate that.

Paula, You've got to try and come too!! It just won't be the same if you two aren't here too!!! Just leave hubby to take care of the dogs!!!

Maybe you could both hop in with Janet and come!!!! After you get here it won't cost anything so it's just transportation!!!

I never thought of driving, but I just checked and it's a 23 hour drive. Darn

My only option budget-wise would be driving. Any flights from here to anywhere in the US always connect in Denver or Minneapolis so it's a little extra flying and a lot more expensive... it would end up being at least $1500 for me to fly alone, and I just can't afford that right now. Unfortunately, it's also a 23 hour drive and since I'm taking some vacation in a couple of weeks, I can't really afford to take more vacation time either. Plus Scott would need time off too because I wouldn't feel comfortable driving alone all the way!

I really wish I could make it but I hope you all have fun without me!

What if you drove to Janet's and came with her? You could share expenses to get here then.

Oh, Lindsey, I was so hoping you could make it!! I wanted Glen to meet our "Baby". I've talked about you so much and I refer to you as the "Baby" of the group!!! It's still a couple of months away so maybe something will work out. Fingers are crossed!!!

I know for sure Rex won't be able to come. He may be coming back from California that weekend. Karen has to be back for college by August 20th, and we don't feel it is safe for her to drive so far alone. Someone will need to ride out with her and fly back. I just don't have the time off.

I'm really not sure how things will work out. The timing is going to be very tight for us. Hopefully I can still make it. Rex says if I want to go to go, but he has a habit of changing his mind when he realizes how complex the scheduling will be.

Will keep you posted. Can't wait to meet you all in person!!!! Missing the last meetup was such a disappointment.

Hope everyone can come, and Diana, please don't go to a huge amount of trouble. I'm sure there is an economical motel/hotel nearby.
