i use an avon cellulite/stretch mark cream which works for me.

I agree, it's definitely inherited. (geez, thanks Mom, NOT!!) I have it too. Always have, even when I was younger, thinner, and better in shape. It's all on my lower half and I hate it!!!
 I don't hate it enough to have a doctor try to get rid of it though...I guess I just try to hide it with clothes and stuff. Cheaper too, LOL.
