Court was closed! Small town life! I drove over, about 1/2 hour trip, parked in an empty parking lot, and on the door were two notices. The judge for yesterday was sorry, but court was closed due to a family emergency. Our next appointments are Feb. 9th. The judge from yesterday had also posted a note that, due to possible weather problems, court was closed.
It seems that judge 1 is there every other Wednesday from 5 PM on, and judge 2, every other Tuesday from 9 AM on. This is not a high crime area! I have to call the courthouse because Jessie's birthday is February 9th and I certainly can't tell her about this! Maybe I can see the Tuesday judge. But...I found a Walmart about 10 minutes away!!! Every cloud has a silver lining!

Sorry to hear that court was closed Judy! I just hate the waiting for it to be over though. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. I think everything will be just fine. I'm really happy that your spirits were lifted by finding that Walmart too!
