Sell your gold scraps!

I gathered up a bunch of old broken gold chains, and broken bits of jewelry, and a pair of earrings that hurt when I wear them, and went to the jewelry store in town. Gold is sky high, and I walked out of there with $93.00!!!

This is about 65% of market value. Most places will give you from 70 to 85% of the value. This store is 10 minutes from me, and he took some 12 karat stuff too.

I'm going to go through my jewelry seriously, and see what I don't want anymore.

If you have gold you don't want anymore, this is the time to sell it, although it may go higher.

I don't think I have real gold....lol. My son did take some scrap metal in and it all fit in the back of his S10 truck and it has a tool box in it too and brought home over $100. Maybe I ought to go into junk dealing....lol....can you see me doing that? NOT!

I have never sold old gold outright, but we did trade a jeweler several pieces of old gold in return for some necklaces Gary had made for his sisters. You never get what the gold is really worth, but hey, it is something!

I looked through my stuff, and I haven't got any real gold that I would sell. Heck, I only have 3 pieces, and they are nothing to speak of!
