When Gary and I were first married, we rented a place in the country with a barn. We bought 100 baby chicks and raised them. It was pretty interesting. We had a big line party when it came time to (ahem) put them in the freezer. We had a catcher, a wringer, a dipper, a plucker, a singer, a washer, and a bagger. The whole family came over to help.

Ok....you lost me with a "singer"!!!!! Did someone stand and sing??????

Diana! when I typed that, I knew someone would think that we had a singer. I didn't know how to type anything different to mean that someone had to singe the pinfeathers off after plucking!

LOL! Only a country gal would figure that one out!
