What a cute garden...you'll have plenty of produce won't you? I really wish we could have another garden. Just don't know if I'm ready to do all the work...lol

Nice little garden!! I've been trying to get Glen to make me a raised bed here close to the house. We have a huge garden but it's quite a ways from the house and not very convenient. I love just stepping out the door and picking a few things for supper!! Good luck with the chickens and garden!! Keep us posted on how they all do!!
We had a couple of roosters through the winter and they crowed ALL the time!! You could hear them in the middle of the night!! Plus they were mean!! When the last one disappeared Dae Lynn accused me of shooting it because it had been going after the kids and I was threatening to kill it.

![]() That is too funny. Only one of my chickens is scared of me (or any human). The others like to be petted. I do hope my garden grows. If anything my herbs. I always buy herbs and they go bad after a few day's. I'm hoping with my garden I just pick what I need and the rest can keep growing. |

Jessica, herbs are the easiest to grow, you'll be giving them away they will grow so well. I've had great luck with rosemary, basil, thyme, and oregano. You can grow cilantro but only when the weather is cool, it won't grow in heat. In Houston you should be able to grow it almost all winter.
