I just remembered that my cousins iPad was stolen last year in Albuquerque (very high crime city) and she tracked it with the same program. When she called the police, they said they didn't have time to deal with petty crime like that and they would go out to where she said it was when they had time, which of course gave the thieves time to disable the program. She never got it back.

I hate some cops, my sister was taken to jail because she wanted to get her son from the dad. I told her to just grab him and the cops said they were going to call CPS and I told her CPS cannot do anything because the dad did not have custody. Well my sis and the cop were arguing and the cops just took her to jail on the charge of disrupting property And I was the one who called the cops because the dad had her lock in the bedroom. But I'm off subject.

my app is called "find iPhone" - I have it on my iPad too.

Do you have the 'find iPhone' on your iPad or 'find iPad' ? I would really like to have this program.

It's called Fine My iPhone, and it works for the iPhone, iPad and my Mac computer. It's a free app too!

I found it. Now I just need to get another apple device to be able to find it...lol.

I think you can call apple and they will help you find it if you don't have another device.
