What do you want for Christmas?

I can't believe you traded diamonds for a sweeper either. Diamonds are always on my Christmas list, though I forgot them when starting this thread. I used to want emeralds, but he got me an emerald and diamond ring 19 years ago, and I've realized that while stones of color are beautiful, diamonds go with everything!!!!!!

He did offer to get me a new wedding ring last year though, and I told him the original is just fine. I have 1/2 carat in white gold. It's not the biggest diamond, but it's a nice size, very good quality and I don't know what I would do with it if he got me another. If I take it out of the setting and do something else with it, then I don't have my original ring any more, and would hate to just put it away.
