That is nice Tink!! You're not going to believe what we have gotten so far....
They had the nerve to give us a coupon (that was also advertised in the paper) from a furniture store here in town....$10 off if you spend $100-$449, $25 off if you spend $450-$749, and so on and so on. Like I can go out and spend money on furniture at Christmas time and the coupon expires January 3. What a joke!! We have all those little lives in our hands...don't get paid that well to begin with and this is our Christmas gift??????? Good thing I don't do it for the money or the perks.....there aren't any!!!

Tink, that was a really nice gift of appreciation that you were given! Isn't it wonderful how a small show of appreciation can really make the day seem brighter?
Janet, Surely the gift certificate was given to everyone, not as a Christmas gift, but as advertising. That would be really tacky to give a coupon to everyone as a Christmas gift, especially when it was in the paper!
