Ooohhhhh Noooooo Janet! I am living with my first septic tank ever now and that's always been a fear of mine. (over flowing)

I really don't know much about them. We are VERY careful about what we put down them.

I don't understand why you would need a new or additonal tank?? Isn't it good enough just to get the one you have now pumped??

I remember visiting a friend in PA and her septic tank too was full and a mess. Oh the smell, the smell! It was disgusting to say the least.

WOW - the things we deal w/ living in the country.

What a way to start your day Here's hoping there's nothing more that needs to be done than just pumping out your current system.

Janet, darn! This is NOT something you needed to wake up to this morning! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you don't have to get a new system dug. Keep us updated!

ICK!

I hope you're able to get by with just having the tanks pumped. But YUCK what a disgusting mess to wake up to!

HUGS

Thanks for the sympathy everyone. I'm just so tired of all this. We've had it pumped 2 or 3 times before, but our neighbor who is a hog farmer would just bring the honey wagon down and pump it out. They no longer have hogs. If we have to call a professional in, then we will probably end up having to have a new system. Even if we were ever to move, (which we won't) we would have to update it. Some times life just sucks everything out of you and I honestly don't know how much more I can take.

We were able to get out of debt except for the house payment and regular monthly bill (electric, telephone, etc.), but we were able to do this only because his parents left us a little inheritance. We would rather have them than the money, but it has helped us breath a little easier financially. Now this!

I just can't quit crying right now...everything is just taking a toll, puppies, well pump motor, my bus broke down last week, and now the septic. I just feel like crawling in a hole and staying there.

I'm sorry, Janet and I wish that I was close enough to give you a big hug! I guess that this will have to do ((((((((((Janet)))))))))) Sometimes it seems like when it rains, it pours and it makes life miserable, but the good news is that tomorrow's a new day!

We had a septic tank before we moved. Did you know that if you put a package of yeast down your drain every once in a while that it will help your septic tank operate better? It helps to break down what's in there. Just a little helpful hint.
