Tough Love vs. Spanking

one time when i was a teenager me and my mom got into a HUGE fight and i jumped out of the car when she pulled over and she LEFT me there!!! she told me years later she had driven down the road and parked in somebody's driveway where she knew i couldn't see her and watched me for about twenty minutes. the shock value of her actually leaving me stranded out on the road was enough to make me say yes maam, no maam, and be a perfect little angel for about two weeks!!!
