I'm glad to see there are other homeschoolers on here I have had this same question It hasn't become an issue yet but with my oldest son just turning 13 I know the time is coming had anyone had any luck finding anything @ the christian book store?

They really are learning earlier and earlier. My grandaughter is in the 4th grade and she knows a LOT. I remember when my kids were young, elementary school, I got a book..can't remember the name of it...and gave it to my oldest son to read. I left him in the living room and went into the bedroom to wait for him to finish. I heard him say "Danny was right"...which meant he had already heard from his friends. To say the least I started earlier with my daughter!!!! I think it's very sad that they have to grow up so young nowadays.

Have you checked on CBD? It's a christian book store that's on-line. You can also sign up to recieve their homeschool catalogue. I used to homeschool my daughter. I saw a book on teaching about kids about their bodies a while back but can't remember where I saw it at.

We use ACE and they don't have anything I will have to check CBD out! Thanks

I use to use Abeka. I only homeschooled until she was in the fourth grade and I decided to send her to school because I was having trouble with my health and panic attacks. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done. It was a toss up on who cried the most that year, Jaci or Mom!!!
