I'm sorry if this offends anyone but seriously..... they get a FREE education and yet born Americans like myself who work full time and go to school full time cannot qualify for financial aid because I make "according to them" too much $$ and I have to get myslef in debt with student loans... where is the fairness in that?

Im going through a similar issue with my son, most of hes classmates get financial aid (those parents get it) i tried to apply last year, after a friend told me, they got it, so why wouldnt we get it. They also run their own business, and she has a parttime job, i know they have a high income. Well, back to the point, they refused us, according to them, our income over the past years was higher then average. I honestly dont know what we do wrong, i always pull on the short end of the stick. You are right Cindy, it just isnt fair!!
