Happy Mothers Day!

Thanks all. We are putting the swing on the swing set frame we had for my son when he was little. I'm gonna move it to the fenced in area (once we get the new fence up) so we can sit and swing while the babies play. It will be so nice.

That was a nice gift, Janet. I've looked at hose reels and I think that I'm going to get one one of these days too. My hose just lays around in the front yard. You'll love your swing and it will be perfect to sit in while watching the little ones.

For Mother's day I got a beautiful hanging basket of double pink impatients. I just loved it! And I got a package of my favorite chocolates with coffee beans in them and a really wonderful card from my daughter who just had the miscarriage. Yumm!!! Then last night my son brought over a gift for me and it's a digital photo frame! I'm excited about it and am looking forward to putting pictures on it. And my husband took me out to eat at my favorite Mexican restaurant. All in all, I had a wonderful Mother's day!!

I was really surprised when my son showed up with a gift because he and his wife have bought the movie theater in our town and have been really, really busy cleaning and repairing it. They plan on opening on this Friday night with Shrek 3. We're all really excited about it. They're planning on being very selective about what movies they show.

That's what my hose is doing. Just laying in a pile on the ground. The reel will make it a little nicer, maybe..LOL

Sounds like you rec'd some nice gifts to for our special day. My husband isn't good at gift giving, but this year they did really good.

How fun to open a movie theater. We have had a couple here where I live, but they just don't stay busy enough and leave. Don't know if we'll get another or not. I haven't seen Shrek 2, but I loved the first Shrek.

My son and his wife are really excited about it. They've gotten a lot of help from my daughter-in-law's family so things are getting done a lot faster than they were expecting. To go to the movies from our communtiy you have to drive 30 miles to the nearest theater so they're hoping that by cleaning it up and getting new sound systems that maybe they can get people to start coming in. I just don't want my grandchildren watching every movie that comes in! That's my biggest concern. It's going to be interesting!!!
