Diana, I'm so glad the book helped and that he was willing to read it and act accordingly!
I think it's a good thing when we fertilize our relationships every once in a while to keep them interesting and growing.

Aww, Diana, what a sweet hubby you have! I'm so glad he did so many things to surprise you!
 Maybe you could do something special for him in return. I'm sure that would really make his day.I've also read the Five Love Languages with my husband. We read it together before we got married and took the quizzes that tell you what your love language is. I think it has been a great asset to our marriage and I too recommend it for anyone!

I've really been having a hard time with my marriage, but some subjects are just too hard to post out in the open. My husband is a really wonderful man, he's very loving and very giving. The book really helped me to realize why I wasn't happy or feeling loved. My need is for quality time and I've never felt that he had time for me. Hopefully things are going to get better with us. I truly married my best friend and as I said, thing are going to get better.

Diana, thanks for sharing your story, i just know this is going to help many others.
Glad things are improving for you both! I never really understood what people meant, when they said a marriage needs to be worked on continuesly, but now i do
