If it's copy protected than you can be charged if you download it for free. It is available on iTunes - aren't they just 99 cents?

One of my students is doing a research paper on online piracy. He's a pro at it.

You do have to be4 very careful or they fine you a lot of money!

Besides, when it is so inexpensive to pay for just one song, why not? The writer and performer should benefit from their work.

lol, we got a notice in the mail a while back that said if we continue to download things from the internet, they would cut off our service, but never mentioned anything about charging us with a crime. They said we downloaded the full season of Heroes, but all of the episodes are available to watch online for free, so I don't see the big deal. (IF we did it, that is...
