Well this will set you back! My daughter called and we were chatting about our plans, gossip, hair, the usual. She mentioned that my ex (who really has been a fantastic father to her), was taking Amtrak - his car died, etc., etc.

I told her I would take him up as long as he didn't annoy me, or he would end up walking. She couldn't believe I offered, but I figured why not. I have to be nice to him once we're there, and I really am not angry at him anymore. I got what I wanted - my daughter and granchildren back.

So, he's coming up in my car. It'll be fine. As long as he doesn't annoy me! I told him that - he wants a ride, so he'll be fine. He's a little bit afraid of me anyway. I threw him out when we split up. I can always just push him out of the door while the car is moving.

I really can be evil, but I don't have the energy to hold onto a grudge.

Put some good music or a book in the CD drive so he won't talk - that should keep you from finding the car space too close for comfort! You are brave and generous, Judy. May the Force be with you!
